If you test positive for the virus, it is important that you let us know as soon as possible by completing our notification form: www.bridgend.ac.uk/covidnotification
Coronavirus Testing (Lateral Flow Devices)
To support our ongoing efforts of keeping our campuses a ‘Covid Safe’ place to work and learn, we ask that you utilise our Lateral Flow Devices (LFD’s) and continue to use these throughout our first term. Welsh Government recommends twice-weekly testing, which we also fully support and encourage.
If you require any testing kits, these can be picked up from reception areas at our Cowbridge Road, Queens Road and Pencoed Campuses. Testing kits can also be collected, free of charge, from local community pharmacies.
Face Covering Exemption
If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, you must wear one of our face covering exemption cards on your lanyard – this helps us and others to be respectful of your exemption. If you need to submit an exemption request, you can do so by visiting the Coronavirus FAQ on the college website.
Face Coverings while on Campus
All staff and students (unless exempt) will be required to wear a face–covering while moving around any indoor area of the college. You may remove your face covering if you are sat down eating or working within a workstation.
Please also continue to wash your hands regularly and use the hand sanitisers provided across campuses.
Remember:
Standing up → Wear a face covering
Sitting down → You can remove your face covering (if you want to)
This week is Sexual Health Awareness Week.
