Here’s an update regarding our success with Core Skills and Digital Badges:

  • An amazing 33,485 digital badges have been awarded this term. Wow! Thanks to the 161 tutors who have awarded the badges and the 1,834 learners who have achieved them.

  • Progressing learners and leavers – we have created a digital platform which will allow you to access your digital badges when you leave college. All you need to access this information is your personal email address. More information to follow before the end of the year.

  • Positive feedback – we are really pleased that we had positive feedback from Estyn and we continue to get positive feedback from students and staff regarding Core Skills and digital badges.

  • Student Award – During the student award ceremony on the 21st June one of you will receive the first Core Skills’ annual award. This is brilliant news! Will it be you who achieves this award?

  • Review of Core Skills and Digital Badges – We need your help! After half term the Core Skills Task force will meet to consider strengths and areas for development. If you have any feedback regarding digital badges and / or Core Skills:
